The United States Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) invites you to participate in a Tribal Consultation regarding how current and potential future tribal set-aside funding from the Federal Crime Victims Fund should be programmed. An informational framing paper is forthcoming and will provide relevant background questions for you to consider in advance of the consultation.
The Tribal Consultation on Current and Potential Future Tribal Set-Aside Funding will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT with a break for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. The OVC Tribal Consultation will be held the same week as the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Annual Tribal Consultation at the Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Michigan, co-hosted by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Details are provided here on this website.
To register for the OVC Tribal Consultation and/or indicate your interest in speaking at this event, please visit the following link (to be provided).
