OVW will be recording and archiving the 2018 Tribal Consultation on Violence Against Women due to recommendations from various Tribes. Footage will be made available on an Official Department of Justice social media channel.

Testimony presenters will be asked to complete a release form located within the registration link on the website. If you do not wish to be recorded, you will be asked to indicate this during the completion of your registration. Testimony presenters will be organized and scheduled by Regions on a first come first served basis.  We highly encourage early registration in order to expedite seating and preparation of scheduling blocks.

We would like to take a moment to also remind you of the hotel booking deadline which is August 3rd, 2018.

Space is limited and the reserved block is near capacity.

Below are instructions on how to submit authorizing letters  from Tribes that will be delegating a non-elected/appointed tribal representative to speak on their behalf. The suggested time to submit these items for review will be no later than August 3rd, 2018, however authorizing letters will also be accepted on-site.

Please scan and send your authorization letter to:

If you are unable to scan your authorization letter, you may fax the document to (202) 514-5818, or mail it to:
